Sign the petition asking Mayor Greg Stanton to make 3rd and 5th Avenues safer

Mayor Stanton, Vice Mayor Pastor and members of the Phoenix City Council:
The Willo Neighborhood has a significant issue with speeding. On 3rd and 5th Avenues, walkers, bikers, kids and pets are being jeopardized by commuter speeding, primarily during the morning and evening rush hours. Additionally, we have cut through speeding on Encanto Boulevard, Edgemont Avenue, Windsor Avenue, Almeria Road and other east-west streets. We are also experiencing illegal traffic on the alleys that connect to 1st Avenue. We are aware that long-term solutions are being investigated, in conjunction with pending changes to 3rd and 5th Avenues south of McDowell, but the current conditions require immediate attention. We urge you to make this issue a top priority and work with the Police and Street Transportation Departments to find measures that will address our unsafe streets.
We are counting on your support.
