Welcome new neighbor!
We're so glad you're here! This page includes a round-up of resources that we've found to be helpful for new Willo residents, including information on who to contact, historic preservation, recent news, and neighborhood points of interest.
The Arizona State Historic Preservation Act of 1978 authorized a reduction in property tax assessment for non-income-producing historic property that is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. If you're interested in learning more, click below for documentation.
For historic registration and renewal, contact Willo resident Gene Nance at Genenancefirstname.lastname@example.org / 602-252-5397.
Tricia Amato (Lewis), a City of Phoenix Historic Preservation Commissioner, has written a regular column about historic preservation for our neighborhood publication, Inside Willo, called Living (in) History. We have reproduced them on our website as helpful resources for our new neighbors... enjoy!
Visit phoenix.gov/pdd/historic-preservation for information regarding guidelines and approvals. If you have a topic or question you would like Tricia to write about, email her at email@example.com.
Explore the neighborhood and notable places of interest, museums, sporting venues, and restaurants that our residents enjoy on a weekly basis.
