Upcoming Paving Work

The City of Phoenix will be performing a mill and overlay treatment from McDowell Road to Encanto Boulevard and from 7th Avenue to Central Avenue. This work will be completed in several phases.
The attached Milling Notice (below) contains all the details.
Milling will involve a large machine grinding down the perimeter of the roadway, primarily in areas that did not receive crack sealing. This is a relatively quick operation, but it can be noisy. The milled areas can generally be driven on immediately after the work is completed.
The most important thing for residents to be aware of during milling will be the temporary No Parking restrictions. The second page of the attached notice shows the anticipated phasing that the contractor will aim to follow.
The next phase will be the actual asphalt overlay. The project team is still working to finalize the schedule and phasing for this work. Once those dates are confirmed, additional details will be shared. The contractor will also flyer each home within the project limits to provide residents with a physical notice.
