October is Outdoor Cat Month
Published on 10/15/2018 • Posted in General Interest
Do you know we have an entire month dedicated to outdoor cats? ADLA has dedicated the month of October to all things outdoor cats!
We’re celebrating Outdoor Cat Month by highlighting 1) the importance of Trap, Neuter, Return (TNR), 2) advocating for outdoor cats, and 3) the humane treatment of outdoor cats. Each week ADLA will be featuring an important topic on our Facebook page, so be sure to follow us!
The Willo Board appreciates that as a neighborhood we need to help neighbors address and control our feral cat population and have approved a program that partners with the Animal Defense League of Arizona’s “Trap, Neuter, Return” (TNR) program. TNR contracts with Valley Veterinarians to provide, at cost, spay and neuter surgeries for feral cats. For more information on the Willo TNR program, please click here.
