3rd & 5th Avenue Update 12/20/2024

- Please drive carefully in the construction zones. Be an example. The Construction Crews are working very hard.
3rd Avenue
Striping and permanent signage continued this week but may take a couple of more weeks through the holidays to complete.
5th Avenue
The pavement reconstruction on the east side of 5th Avenue is on track, and the base pavement lift on that side will be completed this weekend. There will paving operations taking place on Saturday. Starting next week and through the holidays, there will be no construction activities, provided everything goes well this weekend. The final pavement lift is set to begin on January of 2025. Installation of concrete curbing and speed humps will follow.
