Welcome to the Willo Historic Neighborhood!
Originally one of Phoenix’s first historic suburbs planned in the 1920’s, we are now part of the core of Central Phoenix and all the amenities, culture, and community the area has to offer.
Come walk our palm-lined streets and catch a glimpse into Phoenix’s past with historic architectural styles – Tudors, Bungalows, and Spanish Colonials, and later Ranch styles. Or join our well-known and popular Home Tour, one of the best-attended tours in the city every second Sunday in February.
The Willo neighbors are a tight-knit, supportive community who take advantage of living in the urban core of Phoenix. This website is run by the Willo Neighborhood Association, and if you ever have any questions about living or visiting the area, feel free to contact us.
Centrally located in the heart of Phoenix, and just a few minutes from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, the Willo Historic Neighborhood is at the core of the Valley’s freeway and public transportation networks.
Willo is bounded by McDowell Road on the south and Thomas Road on the north and navigating the area is relatively easy. For the latest information on Valley Metro Rail, bus routes, airport transportation and parking and bicycling, click here.
Explore the neighborhood and notable places of interest, museums, sporting venues, and restaurants that our residents enjoy on a weekly basis.
