The latest update.
3rd Avenue:
The speed humps have been installed. The contractor has been working on replacing the damaged concrete flatwork. Due to traffic, there are also necessary repairs to the recent slurry seal treatment on the cycle track. These slurry repairs are scheduled to be completed in July. Following the slurry seal repairs, striping operations will be scheduled. Our Constructions and Traffic Groups are coordinating the completion of the striping and the final decision on the bollard devices to be used. The cycle track is anticipated to remain closed until all devices are installed.
5th Avenue:
Traffic Services crews are finishing up the installation of the signal poles and cabinets. After the signal work is completed, the contractor will address the remaining sidewalks and curb ramps, followed by the pavement mill and overlay. Staff is working on a more detailed schedule from the contractor, including duration and start dates.
